We loved our holiday but did have a few small problems....we had ants in our room and noise that we commented about, sadly it took 2 days to sort out......complaining is not something we wanted to do as we were on holiday and did not want any stress, but in the end after 2 days, time had run out..The staff were just lovely but felt the management should have done kore to help earlier.

We stayed here for a week in April and loved it. It takes a while to get into the rhythm of the place, but once you do, you will rewarded by somewhere that is remarkably friendly and helpful. The staff are a delight and with management could not have made our stay any better.

The lagoon is wonderful. The tide makes it interesting in different ways at all times of the day and we'd recommend the trip across to the Atlantic side to watch the rollers pound in. The flowers are a revelation.

There is a brilliant spa with indoor pool and the outdoor pool is amazing and was never crowded. The lagoon shore is a great place for long walks and the locals we met were always friendly.

The restaurant served up some of the best seafood I have ever tasted, and while it may not be cheap, it is more than reasonable for the quality.

This is a hotel in a very special place

Stayed here with my family for 3 nights this week and we thought the whole experience was wonderful.
We were in the Pirates suite and the Boutre room which were extremely comfortable with lovely terraces and private outdoor jacuzzis where you can relax and take in the incredible panoramic views.
The staff at this hotel are truly exceptional with their natural friendly manner and great service.
We planned on trying different restaurants whilst we were in Oualidia however the food was so very good at La Sultana we ate there every night!

I ended up a short vacation around Morocco in La Sultana, and it could not have been best.
It is a really nice and luxurious hotel by the coast of Oualidia. Whilst pricing is not cheap, is totally worth it. service is excellent, food is excellent, spa is great and location is excellent.
Is a small boutique hotel where you can get the perfect rest after some hardships in the dessert or kasbahs, you will come home completely relaxed!! Rooms are very nice, most with views and excursions are fantastic.

La Sultana was the last place we visited before the end of our honeymoon - and it was the perfect end for us. La Sultana opens up in to the Lagoon of Oualidia - and it is a complete beauty. The hotel is built specially overlooking the lagoon. The infinity pool and amazing as it overlooks the lagoon also.

The spa treatment was also very good. And the heated swimming pool was truly heated - so warm that you could enjoy your swim. The attached jacuzzi added to the fun. The long wooden walk way that goes into the lagoon is also beautiful.

Take one of the boat rides around the lagoon till the edge of the ocean.

However, variety of food was limited and extremely expensive. Considering there was no place around to eat except the hotel, the cost of lunch and dinner turned out too expensive. Food was great in taste and very good quality. Breakfast was fantastic and service was exceptional by all staff during all meals.

They upgraded us and gave us a spa treatment free as part of the honeymoon offer which was well appreciated. Before leaving they also gifted us some Argan Oil and black soap - a great surprise and lovely farewell gift!

Room Tip: All rooms overlook the lagoon. Try not to get the two rooms that are near the reception - they are t...

Wonderful hospitality and we genuinely enjoyed our retreat. Amazing 4-hand massages, a wonderful boutique hotel experience on the coast. The waves did not allow for surf, but we did enjoy a boat trip and great Moroccan cuisine. Management was superb.

Room Tip: All rooms have their unique charm - can't go wrong.

As you drive down the hill towards the stunning lagoon you start to realise what a fantastic setting this fabulous hotel enjoys and as you are greeted by the ever courteous, friendly staff you know that the hotel more than lives up to its setting. The rooms are really comfortable, with thoughtful touches like the open fire, i-pod dock, straw hats and basket to use when you visit the beach and the hot sea water jacuzzi on your private terrace - bliss! The spa offers a range of treatments - the massage is a must have experience. We really enjoyed all our meals at the hotel, it was all delicious and reasonably priced and served by friendly, knowledgable staff. When sitting at the end of the boardwalk pier having a coffee, our very lovely waiter brought us some wool shawls as he realised the wind had strengthened and we could be cold, now that's service. We also took the opprtunity to have a Moroccan cooking lesson from the chef. We can't wait to return and although we would love to recommend La Sultana to everyone, we would be quite happy if it stayed our special secret!
