“Exactly what we needed ”
Reviewed February 8, 2016 for a stay in February 2016

This cabin is simply beautiful. All the old details are so charming but I am thankful for the bathroom and kitchen updates ;) the location is perfect for many hiking trips and it's so private. At night the hot tub under the stars is the icing on the cake. So many things I packed thinking I was being smart didn't even come out of my bag because the cabin is so stocked down to the smallest details. I will absolutely be back!

“Perfect Getaway”
Reviewed December 9, 2015 for a stay in December 2015

We want to thank you and let everyone know what a great weekend we had at Three Sisters! It has the perfect combination of rustic charm and modern conveniences. The kitchen was stocked with just about every appliance and equipment you could ask for. The coffee and tea selection was also very nice. We did not use the hot tub but it looked new and very warm! We should also mention how clean and welcoming the cabin was. When we pulled up the lights were on inside and the heater was on. We will be back.

“Cozy, Private, Awesome”
Reviewed January 21, 2014 for a stay in January 2014

This log cabin is truly a pure treasure! All the amenities were wonderful. I loved the large full view glass windows in the kitchen area. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you would need. The hot tub at night under the stars with snow on the ground was incredible ! The queen bed upstairs was the most comfortable bed ever! We arrived to about 4" of unexpected snow which only made the cabin look prettier! I was happy to have my Subaru AWD though to get up the slight hill to the cabin. This was one of our more special little getaways with the complete privacy and solitude. The winding road to the cabin at first was challenging but then we got used to it! Hiking Crabtree Falls in the snow was beautiful but a challenge with some very icy spots on the trail but it's so beautiful to see! Eat at Gerties and get a BBQ special to go! We also enjoyed the one country store which had the neatest gifts and delicious chili! We stayed for 2 days but wished for more!

“A Treasure!”

My wife and I spent five days in the cabin and we were entranced by the experience from the very beginning! Nearly 200 years old, this place is tucked in a mountain "holler" high up in the Blue Ridge. The approaching road from US 11 is an entertaining, if not hair-raising, drive up the mountain. The cabin itself is very well maintained and equipped. This is not for someone without a sense of adventure, but the cabin does provide all the amenities one needs and enough of the comforts to make for a really wonderful retreat. The wood stove kept us warm on chilly nights and the hot tub was a fun and relaxing touch. This is truly a romantic place for a couple and a great place for youngsters to experience some history without really having to "rough it".

“What a peaceful place!”
Reviewed July 5, 2012 for a stay in March 2012

This cabin is a lovely place that is warmly inviting, comfortable and charming, and a lovely restoration with a lot of history. Although it has a primitive feel, it has all the modern conveniences. The kitchen and bath are a seamless addition to the back of the original cabin, filled with glass to invite the outside in. You feel like you are cooking in the woods. If you are looking for restaurants close by you will be disappointed, but as a launching point for hiking and outdoor activities, it will be like heaven,
