Mayberry Drive-In Theatre & Diner

Suggest you stop in here for a step back in time if you can remember the old days of drive-in theatres! We literally stumbled upon this quaint diner and just happened to be starving, so stopped in for a really late lunch. The service was wonderful and the diner was so enchanting that I had to take lots of photos. Food was average but I really enjoyed the homemade chicken salad sandwich and would highly recommend it, along with the Onion Rings. Again, it's not so much about the food but a trip down nostalgia lane and one that you should take.

If you are looking to see a 50's diner this is the place. Country style dinners to burgers the service is good and the food reminds you of old time diners. There is a drive-in that is great for the family also on the lot.

The Mayberry Diner is an interesting place. It would be the perfect place to take the kids for dinner and a movie. The food was fine, nothing exceptional, diner food. I had lunch there in the off season of Smith Mountain Lake. The food was okay, I ordered a grilled cheese with jalapeno mustard and raw onions. The mustard tasted just like honey mustard so I ordered a side of the jalapeno mustard on the side and it was the same. No kick at all. The fries were good. My dining partner had a milkshake that was thick and tasty. I would go again and try out their breakfast and hope to get there one night for the double feature.
