“Good food and affordable.”
Reviewed August 3, 2012

My wife and I recently dined at the Brickhouse Diner. It has been quite a while since we had eaten there and decided to give it a try at a friend’s urging. Seating and service was quick. I had a crab cake sandwich with fries and my wife had a grilled chicken breast with Greek butterbeans and a side salad. The meal was served in a reasonable amount of time. The portions were decent and although my crab cake was a bit heavy on filler, I was not disappointed with the flavor or overall meal. My wife thoroughly enjoyed here menu choices. We will be back again and soon. I am looking forward to trying some of the other items on their extensive menu.

“A village gem”

Probably the best rib eye around. Their Sunday brunches are wonderful - especially the skillets and blueberry pancakes. Altogether - wonderful little spot.

“A Great Place to Dine!”
Reviewed July 24, 2012

This is only the second time we have eaten here and don't understand why it took us so long to return. We ordered the gyro and it was fabulous! The menu has a big variety of items, so when we return, we will be trying different things...overheard waitress telling the guest at the next table that everything is made in house - a sure sign of a successful restaurant!

“Not enough help”
Reviewed July 16, 2012

Breakfast is really good. Lunch and dinner can be good or not. We have had both experiences. They definitely need more help to keep the tables clean and the floors clean.

“Great food!”
Reviewed July 11, 2012

First time at this restaurant for a family dinner. With diners ranging from 2 to 35 everyone found something they enjoyed. Our waitress brought the kids food out ASAP to avoid "whiny kid syndrome", which was definitely appreciated. The steak was ordered medium rare and came out perfect and huge! It was a little salty, but over all excellent. We also got the Greek nachos which everyone enjoyed. Great family meal including a steak for about $50. This is less than we would have spent at a chain restaurant for a whole lot more atmosphere and excellent quality.

The table service was also excellent. Empty plates and glasses were removed quickly and with minimal disturbance. All of the staff was exceptionally polite. We can't wait to go back!
