Went on a Wednesday night with a few business associates. What a delightful and pleasant dining experience. Firstly, the host (Yves?) is a real gentleman. I wish I liked mussels and escargot because that's Belle Vie's specialties. Instead, I had a sublimely wonderful trout almondine and perfectly prepared cheese croquettes. We also shared a nice appetizer of potato puffs that were airy and flavorful. I LOVE Belgian beer and the selection was among the best I've ever experienced. Dessert was the tira misu, and it was as great as the rest of the meal. Other nice choices for dessert. The service was nice and the whole experience was a pleasure. The chef came out to ensure that everything was prepared to our liking - that's the mark of a restaurant that cares. We were traveling on business and we try to go out of our way to frequent non-chain restaurants. We were duly rewarded by making the trip from Richmond to Midlothian. Def. worth the trip.
