Fabulous weekend in guest house that's immaculate, well presented and great company by the owners.

Once the sun shines on Borrowdale it's such a beautiful and an amazing place. Just far enough from Keswick to be so peaceful and tranquil but close enough to enjoy Keswick in its glory.

Brilliant weekend and well priced.

Thankyou Peter and Stuart.

After many years of hearing about Seatoller House from friends who visit regularly, we finally managed to arrange a stay ourselves at this warm hospitable hotel. Nigel was quietly attentive and helpful. We didn't have the opportunity to meet Trish but the food she provided was wholesome and plentiful and communal dining was a pleasure. Our room was quiet and comfortable and overlooked the attractive, secluded garden. We were delighted to see a red squirrel from the dining room window. This is a great place to stay in an outstanding area and we look forward to visiting again.

We stayed for just one night on our Coast to Coast route.
Very good location for the walk and a really lovely ambience in the hotel. Loved the 'trust' ethos of helping yourself to drinks and the bedrooms not being locked. We stayed with our dog(who was made welcome) in Osprey. The room had been very tastefully redecorated, and was huge.
A lovely sociable experience. Fabulous evening meal.

A very good base for walking in Borrowdale as the hotel are very walker friendly with facilities fro drying wet clothes and boots. Food and service were very good. Staff were extremely helpful. Rooms were comfortable although the beds were a little soft for my liking. Great views from some of the hotel bedrooms.

Four of us spent two nights at Seatoller House recently and were made to feel very welcome. We were immediately impressed with the redecorated Dining Room and equally impressed with the new carpeting and re-decoration of our bedroom Osprey. Equally impressive was the new look Rabbit bedroom. Dinners have always been excellent at Seatoller and Trish is maintaining the tradition. WiFi in the bedrooms is a useful addition and doesn't impact on the unique atmosphere of peace and quiet at Seatoller. A great place to meet fellow walkers, relax and enjoy good food.

Room Tip: Book early to avoid disappointment.

I (We) stayed here in September as part of a group of 6, We came here to cycle mainly, but took advantage of the beautiful area for walking also. The hotel has its own boot room which drys all your gear and it also has a lock up large garage for the bikes. The staff are very helpful and the food is amazing. 4 Courses each night with Coffee and Truffles in the Lounge to follow. The rooms are very large and the baths are great for soaking in after a hard day out cycling or walking. Nigel & Trish run this place brilliantly, This is our 3rd time staying at Seatoller over the years and it is perfect. We will be coming back soon. You can´t get better value anywhere and the location is perfect

Seatoller House is ideally placed to explore some of the finest walks in Borrowdale and the Lake District. It is a real walkers' hotel and a welcome retreat after a long day on the Fells. Nigel offers a warm welcome and Tricia cooks hearty breakfasts and lovely dinners which are the signature of any stay at the House. During our recent visit we enjoyed a roaring open fire in the lounge, the excellent company of other guests and a lovely bath every evening! We heartily recommend it.
