“Great Race venue”

All seat are good and the action around the track is visible from any seat in the stadium. Best hotdogs in a sports venue and they are only $2.

“Martinsville Nascar Race”
Reviewed April 14, 2013

Spring Race 2013, best race I have experienced at Martinsville. Great seats. Recommended any one whom wants to attend to sit in Turn 4. Food was great. Bought a lot of race items and visited the Henry County tent and got free things. Great race to attend.

“Sprint Cup April 2013”
Reviewed April 11, 2013

What an awesome venue! Like everyone before has said, there's not a bad seat in the house. I sat between turns 3 and 4, 19th row, and we had a wonderful view of the entire track. They let you get right up on the fence during the cautions but push you back a bit after the restarts. You can feel the rumble in your chest and the rubber bits in your eyes. Bring sunscreen and earplugs/radio. Hot dogs were great and beer prices weren't ridiculous considering you can bring in a reasonable amount of your own. The staff is friendly and plenty of cautions to use the numerous restroom facilities. Jimmy Johnson won unfortunately but it was exciting seeing Danica Patrick climb back to 12th from last place. Recommend it to anybody, race fan or not!

“SHORT TRACK HEAVEN”
Reviewed April 10, 2013

Martinsville Speedway is the best short track on the NASCAR circuit. Even better than Bristol!!!I grew up going to short tracks so I admit they are my favorite. Martinsville puts on a great show and they treat the fans great. We park in the handicapped lot because my sister walks with a cane, the people who do the shuttling at the lot are great, you can always get a ride up to the gate or concession area. We have been to many tracks and their shuttle service is not as good as Martinsville. The bathrooms are great, always clean, well stocked and never a long line in the ladies room!!!!!Even the port a johns are well kept. Staff at the track is wonderful. They treat you like family. The racing action is always good.If you are a true Nascar fan put Martinsville on your bucket list!!!!

“Small Track, Big Fun”
Reviewed April 8, 2013

There simply isn't a "bad" seat at this stadium. We were in the 2nd turn/Clay Earles Terrace for yesterday's STP Gas Booster 500, and have been in other areas in the past. At a 1/2 mile course, this is one of the smaller tracks in NASCAR. Compared to other tracks we've attended, I think the smaller size makes for a louder volume (still can't hear very well today). However, it allows a great opportunity for a full view of what's going on from one end to the next. Our son earned a ticket to yesterday's race through a reading incentive offered by the Martinsville Credit Union (awesome!) so we had to order tickets for the rest of the family--excellent customer service, and a variety of options for getting tickets. The Will-Call lines were extremely long; in retrospect, I probably would have paid the $5 service fee to print the tickets off at home, but the service was otherwise superior for this venue. There were even ushers in the women's bathroom to move people along as facilities came open, which minimized the wait. Make sure to bring a soft-sided cooler only, as hard coolers are not permitted. Also, no strollers--but as loud as these events tend to be, I wouldn't advise for small children anyway.
