“Nice staff, unremarkable wines”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 3, 2012

The title pretty much sums it up. The staff is engaging and friendly, but the wines are simply unremarkable. I felt like shrugging after each tasting; not good, not bad, exactly 5.0 on a scale from 1 to 10. Unfortunately, you don't drive to a winery for a middle-of-the-road wine. Hopefully they can get better products to get people out here, because they charge a bit more than most wineries in the area.

“Taste extraordinary wine and enjoy the view”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 29, 2012

When tasting wine, Naked Mountain has one of the most spectacular views in Northern VA. Located less than 2 hours out of DC at the foothills of the Shenandoah’s, your drive is well worth the tasting. You may go home with a few bottles of their finest and a “Drink Naked” cork topper. The vineyards are picture perfect from all seating and standing. If you visit in the winter, a cozy fire will be ready for you to relax, taste and I recommend that you order small parings to indulge your pallet. The reds are fresh, clean and vibrant. If you rather drink whites, crisp, sweet and smooth. A great place for friends, family and loved ones.

“Great stop with family”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 17, 2012

My family and I visited the Naked Mountain Winery over the weekend. My husband, daughter, mother, and I wanted to do some wine tasting. They charged 12.00 to tast 12 wines which was a little pricey compaired to the other wineries we visited the same weekend which ran about 8.00 for 15 wines. The wines were very good though. There were plenty of tables out on a deck where you could enjoy a nice glass after the tasting, which we did. There blush wine was our favorite. We even purchased a bottle to take home. There were picnic tables, and chairs spread out amongst the grounds. They had small snacks like crackers, cheese, and meats that could be purchased to eat while enjoying your wine. I would recommend this winery as a must see when passing through.
