My husband and I love hibachi. We have tried just about every hibachi place in the burg. Save yourself some time, and money, and go to Koto, or Osaka if your looking for better food at a casual dive. The food here was by far the worst hibachi have ever had. The yummy sauce was overwhelmingly mayonnaisey, and the chicken tasted like pre-cooked, pre-sliced, frozen cafeteria food. The price was much more than any other place around. Cool atmosphere, but not worth it when you can get the same show at koto with better food.

We visited here with friends who had two childen. The wait was 30-45 minutes on a Saturday evening. We ordered hibachi chicken, ribeye steak, shrimp, and calamari. It was all very good. Te chef did an excellent job and had very good people skills making it fun.

Great Food and Service. Kind of like the Kyoto from the 1990's before it's demise and new owners.A bit pricey menu with no combination specials as accustomed to in most other restaurants of this type.

The only complaint I have was too cold and not enough lighting.

Being sushi fans and needing to kill a couple hours on a Friday evening, we decided to try this newly opened restaurant. We were very impressed with not only the quality of food, but also the courteous and attentive staff. The sushi was extremely good, and the hibachi salmon entree was also excellent. It is so refreshing to dine at a restaurant where the staff seems like they actually enjoy their jobs and want to do their best to please their customers. The manager was taking the time to go from table to table, including ours, to make sure the guests were enjoying their food. We had absolutely no complaints and didn't hesitate to tell him that we would certainly be coming back!

Wasabi is a beautiful restaurant. Wonderful atmosphere. The owners really put some money into the place. The service was very good and our chef knew how to perform, however his cooking lacked big time. The rice was very hard and crunchy ,the chicken was like leather and the shrimp was even hard. . The grease and fat applied to the food was the portion of fat for the week. They kept telling us...see you tomorrow. Tomorrow if you want a heart attack. Don't know about the sushi. I sure hope that it is better than the hibachi meal. We won't be back.
