“Great anniversary dinner.”
Reviewed January 8, 2014

Great food, great service and fair prices. We celebrated of 47th anniversary night enjoying a meal and some almost quite time here. We had eaten here before and after a long discussion we chose Robin Alexander. GLAD WE DID. Thanks for a great night out.

“Great off-hours”
Reviewed January 7, 2014

Celebrated wife's birthday along with another couple. We had lunch at about 2 PM and there were only a few other tables occupied. Everyone had a different entre and they were all good.

Needless to say, service was good. Hopefully the relatively slow food delivery was due to individual preparation in the kitchen. Since we were on a relaxed schedule this was not a problem.

Mid scale restaurant with good value for the price.

“A bright spot”
Reviewed December 16, 2013

We took our daughter and two grand kids here on a cold rainy Saturday... and arrived right at noon. They offer a brunch menu and a regular menu on Sat & Sun.

The first thing you notice is that it's decor is chic bistro in style... using the natural nature of the restored building... and the next is that kids might not be welcomed here. The latter definitely is not the case.

Daughter went for brunch... an omelet with home fries that came with a fruit crepe as a starter. All nicely done. The grand kids had grilled cheese sandwiches which came with a side of mac & cheese. Both were simple and perfect.

When you look at their burger menu... your eyes sorta pop out about some of the combos... just trying to picture how you'd get them in your mouth. They sound enormous and look that way in the pics. In any case, wife and I went for a fufi apple salad, which was large and fresh. I added a Bold Rock cider from a local cidery. BTW, their craft beer selection is not huge, but covers the scale nicely.

There was background Christmas music, which I assume would translate into dinner music... making RA's a hot date spot with an upscale casual dining menu. Kinda counter intuitive, but the prices are right... the service is right... the atmosphere is right. And... we'd take our grand kids back here.

“Great place for some great craft brews and excellent food!”
Reviewed November 25, 2013

One of the best places in Lynchburg for craft beer. Anywhere better you will pay more $$$ for the beer and have much lower quality food. The food is terrific and not too pricy. The appetizers such as the ahi tuna tacos and the tai lettuce wraps are phenomenal.

“It's a pretty good lunch place”
Reviewed November 20, 2013

I had the Bayou Burger medium, with fried crawfish and andouille sausage under provolone cheese. It was kind of spicy, but good, with a tasty remoulade sauce accompaniment. Wait time for food delivery is kind of slow. Either way you go on foot out the door is uphill, so you'll burn some calories.
