“Good theme restaurant in Lynchburg”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 20, 2014

This is a theme restaurant with lots of memorabilia from the Titanic and other events. The food is mostly sandwiches, subs and short order meals. It's kid-friendly and very busy at lunch. The sandwiches are good, not great. The service is slow. There are better restaurants but this is a nice change of pace with the memorabilia and 30+ sandwiches.

“Yummy!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 19, 2014

Ate here for the first time a week ago. The staff were very pleasant and went out of their way to please. Food was wonderful. Tasty, hot, fresh. I would definitely go there again on my next visit to Lynchburg.

“Good food, lots of choices and great server!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 11, 2014

Ducked into the Macado Restaurant in Lynchburg, VA to escape a sudden thunderstorm. I was quite pleased with the extensive menu of not only many different quality sandwiches but also Mexican and Italian food plus deserts galore. I had the Bobagger sandwich which is sliced steak, melted muenster, mayo, onions, portobello mushrooms, banana peppers, lettuce, and tomato on very tasty French bread. My wife thoroughly enjoyed her Carpetbagger sandwich which is sliced steak, melted cheddar, lettuce, tomato, onions, and 1000 island dressing served on French bread. This is not your fast food sandwich shop! These are real top notch sandwiches served in a nice environment with lots of cool things on the walls, TVs for the sports fans and a nice engaging staff as was our server Steph! I highly recommend even if you're not just trying to duck a storm!

“Disappointing”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 12, 2014 via mobile

Bizarre that the restaurant offers house-made potatoe chips as a starter, but when you order a sandwich with chips, you get a bag of Ruffles.

Service was not well timed notwithstanding our visit being on a slow Monday night. For a group of six, our meals came out in three different stages spanning 10 minutes.

Food quality was so-so; though, menu was varied with numerous sandwich options.

Very unlikely to return.
