We've been loyal patrons of the Restaurant at Patowmack Farm since it opened. It is our favorite, special occasion spot. We brought friends with us today for their first time. Brunch was amazing. Each course was delicious with elegant presentation. Service was top-notch. The view is spectacular. If you are looking for amazing food and a first rate dining experience, you will not be disappointed.

The Restaurant at Patowmack Farm's 40 acres of land is nestled on a hillside overlooking the Potomac Valley. Eleven of the 40 acres are used to grow ingredient used by the restaurant in its dishes.

I visited on a quiet Thursday evening; the menu was a la carte. I tried the tempura dilly beans, parsnip soup, dogfish entrée, and Sophie's select cheddar cheese. Everything was artfully presented and delicious, but the parsnip soup was amazing! I left feeling sated, but not uncomfortably full. The printed menu with my name printed at the top was a lovely touch. The staff is unobtrusive, but very attentive.

The Restaurant at Patowmack Farm also offers cooking classes.

While we've dined here previously and always had excellent meals, this was our first experience since Tarver King took over the kitchen, and it was marvelous! We were guests of another couple and all had the prix fixe menu, and every one of the seven courses was outstanding and unique, as were the "amuses bouche" served prior to the meal. Flavors and textures were creatively combined and contrasted, and well matched, as well as being creatively presented. Our server, Collin, was the best-informed and most pleasant waitperson we've ever experienced, and the owner, Beverly, was as warm and welcoming as ever. The atmosphere, in the glass-enclosed dining room overlooking the Potomac, was ideal.

We dined at Patowmack Farm the end of September with another couple and had a fabulous meal. We became fans of Chef King when he was at Goodstone a few years back. They didn't appreciate his culinary talents but we sure did and followed him to Ashby Inn and now, Patowmack. We were not disappointed! His creations are unique and delicious. Fun and inventive and worth every bite. We highly recommend dinner where service was attentive but not overly so. Food, a culinary treat where you will be thinking of your meal long after, as it was created by someone who loves food and has a great talent. A lovely night all in all.

We dined at Patowmack Restaurant for Sunday Brunch with another couple from Washington, VA. It was a lovely day and we ate outside in the open air tent overlooking the beautiful Potomac Valley. The service staff were very helpful, attentive, courteous, and friendly. The presentation of the food was beautiful and since much of the food is grown locally, it was very fresh and delicious!

We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience and hope to return again in the future.
