I have to ask myself why didn't I learn more about this great American when I was in school? The museum is housed on the campus of VMI so parking may be an issue. The museum houses Marshall's Nobel peace prize and also the Oscar for "Patton". (Patton attended VMI but transferred to West Point).

I learned a lot about George Marshall, and I was excited to see a Nobel Prize medal in person. It's very small and simple, but certainly worth the time if you have an interest in WWII history.

I'm not going to tell you anything about this man, except this: If we could resurrect this man and give him enough power, he would fix half the major problems in the world!
