This one is well worth the few dollars for admission. It's great education for those of use who have forgot what we learned in grade school. Easy walking access to VMI and other places of interest.

The House doesn't look like much from the outside, but the tour was very interesting. Guide was very informative and knew lots of stories. Small but good gift shop.

The front of the house and the gardens are really wonderful, but we were expecting more from the tour inside. We certainly learned a lot, and the tour guide was very good, but the inside of the house (except for the few areas they bring you to) doesn't look very old - and much of the house is a reproduction.
It's certainly worth it if you are a history buff, but we enjoyed walking around Lexington more than the museum itself.
If you have AAA, they give you $1 off each ticket - but even without that, it's a good value for what it is.

Was passing through and decided to stop here. I was amazed at the history of the man - so much more to him than the General we all know!
I highly recommend the tour, and suggest taking the time to wander the area for a couple hours...tons of historical value.

The tour guide was very interesting, and we enjoyed our tour. The museum aspect of the home was smaller than I expected, and it seemed a bit pricey for what you get. However, I'm very glad they preserved this home and Stonewall's legacy.
