Kingston Inn & Suites

We stayed in the Days Inn at Lexington, VA for 1 night. It is a little bit out of the city center, which has its pros and cons. The main pro though is that it is up a little higher and has a really cool view of the mountains right outside your front door. The front desk staff was extremely nice and helpful during our stay.

It is a budget hotel, so the rooms aren't excellent, but I think they are great for what you pay for them. I sometimes heard pipes shaking in the middle of the night when someone would use hot water, but I think it's a great value.

we stayed two times returning the 2nd time as we traveled home. It is a very clean and well managed motel. A little off the beaten track, about 3 miles from route 81, but well worth the money and we were very pleased with our hosts.

We've been to this motel several times. It is very convenient to W&L campus - only a few minutes from door to door - and no traffic issues.Rooms are always clean, well-maintained and the front office folks are always most pleasant. No frills other than cable-tv and complimentary continental breakfast, but well-worth the cost. Super quiet at night - like staying in the country.

I stayed here during my cross country bike trip, one of many I stayed in during the trip, and found this motel to be top notch. It is a quiet location, no traffic noise and such, and owner is nice and takes time to ensure you have what you need, nice breakfast in the morning with fresh fruit, cereals and plenty of pastries. I chose it because it had the most reasonable rates in Lexington. A fine motel.

We found mold on the walls on our room. When we reported it to the front desk, he didn't believe us.

A little off the beaten track but worth the view with no noise from the highway.
Very accommodating in every way.
Clean, room furnished comfortably. I liked the extra sink in the tub and commode area of the bathroom.
The 10 of us were put in one area of the motel which made it easy to socialize with each other.
The breakfast was ample.

While out of the way, past both college campuses from the interstates, this is a quiet location where you can rest without the noise of the highway intruding. The owners treated us better than most places we have been, even changing our reservation to another room so we could be closer to others who were also attending the same graduation.
