This was the first of eight Virginia wineries we stopped at over a three day weekend in April. The visit was on a rainy Friday afternoon, so I cannot say much about the view and the grounds. The tasting was a group of ten wines for $5, which is fairly standard for wineries in the area. Unfortunately, we both found the wines very average and lacking any complexity in flavor in comparison to other wines that we tasted later in the trip at other wineries. Our server basically poured our samples, told us what they were, and then either walked off for a while or stared aimlessly toward the door. That day, none of the staff seemed to concerned with talking up the wines or answering questions.
