I've been to Eggspectation a number of times with friends and family. I am always impressed by the variety of the menu: eggs in every form, crepes, great smoothies, plus the "usual" breakfast offerings. It is now my go to breakfast place when I have friends or family in town. Although the prices are a bit high, the atmosphere & decor are fun, and the service is solid.

If you want a quieter dining atmosphere, ask for seats in the back of the restaurant, away from the bar. Also, it gets quite busy on the weekends, so keep that in mind when visiting.

I had visited the Chantilly Eggspectation with co-workers years ago for lunch and enjoyed it so much. Today's experience was equally the same, years later. This site is located in the same shopping center as the Leesburg Wegman's and is directly behind it. Parking can be found on the street here and there, or in the Wegman's parking garage. This visit was for lunch with a friend and was just the way I remembered the other location---the staff is welcoming and they go beyond what you would expect. They check with you throughout your meal to be sure that you have everything you want. The menu is HUGE and you can eat an egg-based dish or just about any other kind of food. The portions are just right and completely fill the plate--even the salads are full of ingredients. The offerings include the protein, carbohydrate, and fruit. The presentation is equally notable--lots of texture & color. They have a variety of seating choices--booths with windows, tables & chairs toward the middle to spread out, etc. Pricing is reasonable and they never rush anyone. It's not too loud in the room so you can actually talk and be heard, even though it can be quite crowded. Enjoy!

This was our first time to Eggspectation. A friend lived in an apartment nearby and recommended we give it a try. We are always looking for a good breakfast place and usually try to stick to locally owned and operated restaurants.

The decor was nicer than expected and very clean overall. People were nice and efficient.

We had a French Toast with fruit that was a large portion and quite good. Also had a Breakfast Burrito which was good as well. I prefer chorizo over breakfast sausage personally but the dish was good nonetheless.

Overall, while the food was good, there was nothing unique or very interesting though (hence the 'Chainy' in the review title). It was a little pricey ($37 for two meals and two coffees and tip) but within reason.

We will visit again an try something else on the very extensive menu. If you have never tried it, Eggspectation is worth a go.

Took close to 45-50 minutes to serve a table of 10 on a Sunday around 11 a.m. The food was less than average and way overpriced. The waitress was nice and helpful, but she was not at all backed up by her kitchen. We had to ask for utensils. I'm not sure the kitchen ever tastes their recipes or really likes brunch food. Did not even look appetizing.

We were informed about the first entertainment at the restaurant by the Manager and decided to attend and invite another couple. I'm giving the rating of the restaurant very good primarily because of the musician who was very good; the atmosphere which was great because even with the music, you could have a conversation; and the drink prices and beer selections were good. I had the quesadillas and they were just okay. Someone had the wings and said they were great. Mind you that this is from a guy who eats almost anything. We will definitely return for happy hour. In fact I'm hosting a social & networking event there on October 25, 2013 from 5:00 - 7:00 pm. Free appetizers, no admission. Please join me!
