“Disappointing breakfast”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed October 28, 2012

Four of us had Sunday breakfast here today and I wish we had gone to Bob Evans, IHOP, or just about any other place. Our bill came to $70, not including tip, for four entrees, one juice, two coffees, and two teas. The most disappointing aspect of our visit was the poor service. If I would have been able to figure out who the manager was, I would have said something.

Our server, Christine, came by fairly quickly and took our drink order. When she returned with our drinks she asked if we were ready to order and we let her know we needed a little more time. Our food was delivered by two other employees and our server never returned to our table. We were asked if we wanted drink refills when the food was delivered, but never asked again, and no one asked us how our meals were. Our server never looked our way when at tables in our area, and at least two of us got the feeling we were nothing more than a bother instead of customers. We ended up having to ask another employee to get her. She finally came to the table and asked if we wanted our dishes removed - Most of us were finished eating. We asked for one tea refill, one glass of water, and a cup of hot water to warm up a baby bottle. I'm not sure where she went, but one in our party had to get up to get the hot water as they did not want the baby getting too fussy. Someone finally returned with the tea and hot water and we had to ask again for the ice water. The person who delivered our check did ask if we wanted any to-go drinks. Too bad he wasn't our server!

Food was ok, but certainly not worth what we paid for it. I had the crepes with ham, mushroom, asparagus, and cheese. It tasted a bit greasy and I haven't fell well since eating here. I don't mind paying higher prices when the food is tasty and the service excellent, but this was neither. We won't be going back.

“VERY over-priced ...”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed September 19, 2012

We went to the Leesburg Eggspectations for breakfast and found that the food, though good, was absolutely not worth the price paid. This is not a gourmet restaurant by any means and the breakfasts we ordered were no better or worse than what can be had at any diner. Services was mediocre, at best. If you want to overpay for your breakfast, then I'd recommend this place. Otherwise, IHOP or Bob Evans are better bangs for your buck ...

“Not sure about this place...”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 28, 2012

Location is key in this shopping center & while you drive by this place to get to the others, you forget it is there once you park. The food was good, the price for 5 of us (3 kids) was $60 - including 1 Happy Hour priced drink. The kid's portions were large, they could not eat it all. The adult portions were generous as well. There is no ambience, I don't know what they can do to correct that. The server got all of our order correct, but had no presence. I would go back if the situation were like last night where the 2 notable restaurants in the center had long waits of 35 minutes or more.

“Food is mediocre and not worth the price”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 27, 2012

Tried this restaurant three times, the first time I ordered crepes which came out hard as plastic. After complaining to the server, they managed the situation well (did not charge for the dish, offered free smoothies next visit). The second time the food was fine but nothing special and certainly not worth the price. Really wish I could like this place but the food just doesn't "wow" me.
