“Great little park for hiking”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 25, 2013

This small park has several miles of hiking within its wooded grounds. Several of the trails bring you down to the Potomac and there is a great overook perched high above ther river as well as a trail that runs at river level. All trails are family friendly and have only minor hills to contend with. It is very well maintained.

“Why is it called Red Rock?”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 31, 2013

I just had knee surgery so I was nervous to go on the trail, but I found it fairly level with the most hazardous thing being above ground roots once in awhile. It's a lovely trail with a nice bench at the end for sitting and looking at the beautiful Potomac River. The trees were beautiful with fall colors. The bluffs are of red clay, but I didn't see any Red Rocks. Does anyone know why it's called Red Rock?

“nice short trail”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 1, 2012

This place has a nice short trail loop that goes towards the Potomac River - nice views of the river from the overlook. You can hike down to the river if you want by following the trail. Good short hike.

“Nice spot for a short hike!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 9, 2012

Red Rock is tucked into a bend on the Potomac River just outside Leesburg. It's got nice trails - with hills - that take you to a dramatic cliff overlooking the Potomac.
