I decided to go to this place on a whim while getting sick of the crowds at leesburg outlets and needing some outdoor time. I was pleasantly surprised. The place is a bit remote, with some travel on non-paved roads required. The winery has a really nice layout, with plenty of open space, tables/chairs on a patio, lake with a gazebo, and they opened the gates to the vines so you could walk through the actual vineyard area. nice touch that they trusted their customers enough to walk through. The owner and his family were all nice and had great stories to tell about the land and how the winery came about. The wine itself is on par with Virginia wines overall - not spectacular but certainly decent. The place was very relaxed yet sophisticated. Highly recommend overall.
