When visiting Leesburg with a dog this coffee shop is always a welcoming place. Coffee and service is great. Lots of place outside. They helped with fresh water for my dog. Servings of baked items was good and we enjoyed our visit

“Fulfilling Breakfast”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 10, 2013

Ate breakfast here on a Saturday morning. Very good bacon omelet, Eggs Benedict, and coffee. Server was extremely cheery. The place was packed and she was extremely busy but she was very friendly to us. We received our meal way before a table of four that had been in there before us...we must have just gotten lucky! I'd definitely go back to try lunch. There was one big screen TV in the cafe which seemed a little out of place. We chose to read the newspaper provided instead.

“Perfect medium-rare burger and French onion soup!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 13, 2013

Ate here mid-week at about 1 or 1:30 p.m. The restaurant filled up as we dined.
They did not hesitate to cook the sirloin medium-rare when we requested it. It was finely ground and was better than any angus burger we've ever had.

The crock of French Onion Soup was wonderful -- very hot and steamy! Lots of cheese and large crouton pieces floating in the soup.

“Overpriced but a pleasant experience”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 20, 2013

We went in on a Sunday evening. We were the only customers there. I liked the quaint, homey feel. Our server was very courteous and our food arrived quickly. We both ordered the turkey/ham open-faced sandwich with swiss cheese and tomato on rye bread which also comes with a side of potato salad and a pickle. We overheard some discussion in the kitchen about being out of rye bread. The server came back and asked if we would mind their substituting another kind of bread, which was fine. The sandwich was very plain, just the toppings and bread lightly toasted, though the ham and turkey had great flavor. The potato salad was delicious--looked and tasted homemade to me. Still, the price I thought was too high for such a plain meal. Overall though, it was a good light meal and a pleasant experience. Hopefully the other items on the menu merit the prices.

“Breakfast stop”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 6, 2013

I stopped here on a weekday for a late breakfast just after the Labor Day holiday. The town was dead and I had the place to myself. Basic breakfast (eggs, bacon, home fries, toast) was good. Coffee was also good. What I enjoyed the most was chatting with my server D'Jamie and listening to the Luther Vandross music he chose to play.
