My visiting daughter and I dined here on a Thursday evening. We did not have reservations and walked in around 7. We had a little table in the back section; only two other tables had patrons, so it was very nice for conversation. We took advantage of the three course option and had an appetizer of crab-stuffed mushrooms. We enjoyed a half bottle of wine as well. Surprisingly we both had the exact same meal, Greek salad, panko seared scallops with roasted potatoes and asparagus. The only complaint was that the bread crumbs were slightly over-caramelized. Coconut cream pie completed the meal. The prices were a little above normal for the the Northern Neck but not outrageous by any measure. You'd pay at least this much in DC or Richmond for the same meal, so it's only the neighborhood that's different. Many reviews talk about the limited menu, but we didn't find that to be a problem. There was something appetizing in each category. The food was very tasty--but it didn't stand out in any particular way. When the evening was finished we both agreed that we had enjoyed ourselves very much and that had been our objective from the start.
