Had a lovely holiday at Rhosydd Bach staying for 10 days end of Aug/early sept and have to say it is the most relaxing place I've been. We have 2 small children age 3 & 4 and I've been reluctant to take them away anywhere as I found it stressful particularly on larger parks where they can disappear in the blink of an eye amongst the sea of caravans. I looked around for a last minute holiday and found several single caravans on small farms but what put Rhosydd Bach head and shoulders above was the facilities for children. We knew we would have somewhere more secluded to relax but our kids wouldn't be bored to tears either!

Rhosydd Bach consists of 4 self catering cottages and 1 static caravan, we stayed in the caravan.

We arrived on the Thursday and the caravan is spotless. It is basic with a touch of luxury, flat screen tv's in the lounge and main bedroom (lounge also has inbuilt dvd player) There is a fully equipt kitchen area which also catered for younger kids with plastic bowls, plates, cups & cutlery for the younger ones and everything you could need really in terms of utensils, even a dishwasher. The caravan also has a decking area giving you that bit more space to roam with a bench and table and chairs. Outside is a shed with a washing machine, iron and ironing board, also giving you space to store suitcases. Around the grounds you'll find a variety of ducks, chickens, pea-hens and Matilda the duck plus the farm dogs with Sally the little JRT coming to say hello. There is a dedicated childrens play area with swings and a huge trampoline, also lots of ride on toys for the younger babies. Theres also plenty of info leaflets and a welcome pack in the caravan to help you find places to visit. The caravan is near the entrance on its own so lots of privacy and the play area is visible so you can relax and let the kids play in safety.

Rhosydd Bach is easy to find if you follow the instructions given by Geraint. There are a couple of routes into Pwllheli and its a short 10 minute drive, also easy to access the north side of the peninsula, I especially loved Morfa Nefyn beach but the little uns preferred Llanbedrog and black rock sands on the south. I actually felt a bit smug watching the lines of traffic heading towards the big parks in pwllheli at gridlock and we sailled straight up the road to Rhosydd Bach!
Asda is easy to find in pwllheli, also a variety of other shops around (Londis, spar etc)

My kids are very active at home and not once did they complain of boredom there, loved every minute and will definately be a regular :) Book with confidence, you wont be disappointed.

We stayed in the caravan at Rhosydd Bach and it was great. It has everything you need and more - dishwasher, washing machine and TV in bedroom were all added extras. The decking area and private garden are also great - much more than you get at most caravan sites. The grounds are lovely, brilliant play area for our 2 young children - particularly the giant trampoline! Also the vegetable garden was lovely with lots of herbs and veg we could use!
Very much in the countryside, peaceful and tranquil. It is very easy to get to lots of the wonderful beaches in the area (Llanbedrog being our favourite) and other tourist attractions.
The owners - Gerraint and his wife are very friendly and approachable. All in all a wonderful place to have a holiday, hoping to be back sometime soon!!

We had a fabulous week at Rhosydd Bach. It is a bit out of the way but only 15 minutes from a lot of towns, and it was quiet and relaxing being out of the main areas. We stayed in a two bedroom cottage which was gorgeous. It was finished to a high standard and they have thought of everything you would possibly need. There were even TVs in the bedrooms. Gerraint and his family are very accommodating and welcoming, and our three year old daughter enjoyed being able to play with their 6 year old. We found plenty of family activities to do in the area and would love to go back soon. It is definitely worth a visit - we have no regrets.

Just home from a lovely long weekend in Rhosydd Bach where we got good value for money and a friendly welcome. A great spot, very isolated but, on a clear day, fabulous long distance views over fields to the sea.

We experienced both extremes of Welsh weather – driving rain at the start and glorious sun at the end.

Cottages are comfortable and well situated to explore the wonderful beaches which are amongst the best in the UK and can hold their own with some of the world’s top beaches we have visited – I had no idea Wales was so beautiful.

We stayed in the static carvan and it was the perfect home away from home. It was all nestled into its own little hidden and private spot. The wildlife was wonderful. Dog friendly too! They think of everything - even a mini-dishwasher! The family who run it are helpful but not in your face. My kids loved the play area and big trampoline and tire swing. We did love it and we will be back.
Thank you!
