This is a restored church built in the early 1700's. It has been beautifully restored and some of the early founding families still live in the area. There is a self-guided tour in the entrance with a good deal of history and a large collection of artifacts. There is a timeline displaying the restoration history, Then a docent leads you through the church tour. Amazing brickwork, still has the high backed pews! Hard to believe people back in the 1700;s carved bricks into different shapes. Very well worth the $5.00 donation!

Fascinating guided tour. A lot of information about the area and the Northern Neck. One of only two historic churches that still has the high backed pews. Beautifully maintained.

This is very worth a stop, and the short tour. A don'tmiss and don't forget the camera. It's essentially untouched.

After visiting the guest center and seeing the short film, we enjoyed the museum tour. Then we had a wonderful guided tour of the Church.
