We stopped here on our way from Florida to Williamsburg. The location was convenient right off the highway. It was just a one night stay, but the room was clean and spacious. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was well kept. Breakfast on the other hand was very underwhelming. It's the usual carb overload, but there was no real butter for the waffle or bread, just some very funny tasting spread so that went in the garbage. Grab a cup of coffee and get breakfast somewhere else. Otherwise, would definitely stay overnight again on another road trip.

My fiancee and I stayed here overnight while driving through Virginia. It's fairly new and nice. We stayed in a smoking room that smelled fresh and clean. The room was excellent, but the bed was hard. Then again I'm spoiled by my pillowtop mattress at home. The staff was very helpful and courteous. The area was quiet and plenty of restauraunts could be found a short drive down the street.

Room Tip: If you're looking for quiet, don't choose a room on the same side as the pool during the sum...

My fiancee and I (and two of our friends in another room) stayed here for six days during and following Hurricane Irene. It was the closest hotel with power that had open rooms on the day of the hurricane. Ravi, who was working at the front desk, was absolutely WONDERFUL!!! He got us the very last room they had available at the hotel, and he was so helpful, kind, and thoughtful from beginning to end. (I really cannot say enough about Ravi, he is one of the best hotel employees I have ever met at ANY hotel.)
We ended up switching from one of the larger rooms with a kitchenette to a smaller room because we wanted a smoking room, but both rooms we stayed in were very nice for a moderately-priced hotel. The rooms were large and the bathrooms were spacious. I would have liked a flat-screen TV rather than a tube TV, but since we were staying there for light, air conditioning, and a hot shower, I'm not going to complain too much about the television.
The rooms were also spotlessly clean -- housekeeping does a wonderful job, and they pay attention to the smaller details that some other hotel housekeeping staff misses. The housekeeping staff was very friendly, kept us well-stocked on everything we needed -- we drink TONS of coffee and use lots of shampoo -- after we requested more the first time, they were sure to leave us what we needed for the rest of our stay.
The Continental breakfast was pretty good -- you can make your own waffles, and who DOESN'T like waffles? They also had little sausage biscuits, which most hotels with Continental breakfasts don't offer. They also had your standard cereal, muffins, bagels, and yogurt selection for those who looking for something quicker to eat in the morning.
All in all, it was a very pleasant stay considering that otherwise we would have been staying at home with no electricity. If you stay here, I hope you are fortunate enough to get Ravi at the front desk!

First the good stuff. The room was big, clean, and well maintained - though it had a real tube TV. The bathroom was big and clean. Those of us that move regularly for DOD know these basics are important. Parking was plentiful, well lit, and devoid of panhandlers. Breakfast is included ... and it's a real breakfast not the continental breakfast others in the area claim are a breakfast. This place was actually under your per diem rate - though only by $2. The staff was very nice, greeted you each and every time you came or went, and followed up on requests. Now the bad stuff. The hotel, though fairly new, was dated in its equipment. The lounge and breakfast room had flat screens but the rooms had tube TV (old style) with no media hook ups ... which is a must if you have kids. The hotel, while in plain view of the main drag, has a strange entrance to the spacious parking area. There are a couple of nice eateries nearby but you have to go through panhandlers (not located on the hotel grounds) to get to them.

We stopped here on our travels because AAA said they offered an extended breakfast, and we wanted to save time in the morning and get on the road. Mistake. We ended up going across the street to the Wawa anyway, because Best Western's coffee was terrible, and there wasn't much to choose from (no bananas, no yogurt other than peach, no muffins). The room was not great. Old television, gross couch and bedspread with those icky furry blankets. The air conditioning didn't work correctly and the toilet ran unless you fooled around with the handle. The carpeting and decor could use a redo. I just didn't feel comfortable and should have gone to a higher end place and spent an extra $20.

Priceline got us a cheap rate here but we should have driven a bit further and stopped at the Hampton Inn close by.

This was a dodgy location. There were lots of shady looking characters at the gas station across the road.

The room we got was a ground floor unit. Doors were slamming open and shut and people walking and yelling at the top of their lungs all evening and early morning.

We got ZERO sleep.

NEVER STAYING HERE AGAIN.

My wife and I were on a road trip and sought a place to check in at 9:30 pm and check out at 8:30 am. We wanted a decent night’s sleep and breakfast. This hotel provided a clean, quiet and comfortable room which allowed that. I tried to negotiate a discount rate since they had vacancy in late evening, and the night clerk tired to make me feel that I got a special deal, but we got nothing better than AAA or AARP rate, which is still at least $30 less then adjacent hotels. The hotel is owned and managed by Indians who attend well to the essential details of basic hospitality. The breakfast was OK but not “special.” The other guests were a blend of middle class seniors and construction workers. I would definitely stay here again under similar circumstances.
