After driving by on daily basis for two years, we stopped in a couple of months ago to check it out and have been back several times . As others have commented, the concept is unusual with the counters, serve-tenders etc. but the food is excellent and the prices aren't bad either. I would have rated it as 5 stars but the entree menu is really limited to six items with an occasional special. I gets rather boring if you ate here often. The tilapia, shrimp and grits, flank steak are all great as are the burgers (haven't worked my way through the sandwich menu yet). They really could use a more pizza-like flatbread option. The servers are friendly, although the team concept of everyone and anyone helping you can sometimes cause confusion. This is a great place to come if you are a solo diner or for a couple. Large groups (6 +)would likely find the seating arrangements to be problematic. Give it a try, the Kitbar is worlds better than the chains that dominate Reston/Herndon.
