DH and I decided on the spur of the moment to overnight in Harrisonburg before continuing our trip home to NC. We decided around 7 p.m. to check out the Capital Ale House for dinner. We were promptly seated. We enjoyed the ambiance and the local blue grass band.
We each started with a salad (Caesar for me, Spinach for DH) and then the Sunday night special ... $9 for an 8 ounce prime rib with mashed potatoes and veggies. The sauce served on the prime rib was very sweet. Had we known that it was served with a sauce we would have asked them to hold it. DH said his cut was fatty while mine was fine.
All in all a very nice experience.
