Stayed here with some friends while visiting JMU. Nice place for the money, no complaints, big rooms.

Stayed 3 nights. Our room with 2 queen beds was clean and comfortable. The room had microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, iron and board, hair dryer. Did not have an in-room safe, which I usually use. The shower had good pressure and very hot water. The tub drained slowly and we simply left a note for housekeeping about this. When we came back from our activities they had already fixed the problem. They provided us with a toothbrush we forgot from home. The breakfast has plenty of hot food choices and was very good. The small indoor pool was good for playing a couple rounds of marco-polo, and was at a comfortable temp. The hot tub seemed consistant at 103 degrees. Our room over-looked the next door truck stop, but we could not hear any trucks at all. Great sound proofing, even between rooms. Good location directly off I-81. Very near attractions, resturants, etc. Friendly service. The only con was our in-room refrigerator made a ticking noise, but we could only hear it when TV and heat was off. We ran the air throughout the night and could not hear the frig at all. It was a minor issue and we did not mention to staff. See my other reviews of Massanutten ski resort (not impressed), Massanutten Water Park (expensive, but good), The Little Grill Collective in Harrisonburg, and Bryce Ski Resort (fantastic place).

This hotel was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. There was a microwave and mini refridgerator. I'm not surprised as this chain of motels has always been superior to the others in the same price range.

My air conditioning unit was making a loud noise, and the maintenance man determined that it was a bearing, and would need replacing. The manager offered to find a comprable room. There was none available. So, Scott, the general manager of the hotel, brought a replacement unit to my room, and replaced the whole thing himself. In my opinion, he went way beyond the call of his job description. Thank you, Scott. My stay could not have been better.

A few years back I stayed here on the way back from the in-laws. Totally by chance. But I entered the information on my iphone and here we are again going back to my in-laws and I pulled up their information. Great idea! Just as I remembered. Comfy beds, spacious bathrooms, free wi-fi, lounging upholstered chair, mini fridge and microwave. Oh, heated pool and free breakfast! Guess what? We will stay here again on our way back home.

There was nothing "bad" to say about this one. It was so nice and reasonably priced we decided to stay two nights and get laundry and car servicing done in Harrisonburg. You can't go wrong with this one!

If this hotel is full, try the one behind it (Hampton Inn?) but it looked nice from the outside.

We were driving home from SC, stopped here on the way home for a pit stop. We had the best experience at the Holiday INn express in Spartanburg , SC..so we supposed this was be amazing too...It was HORRIBLE....middle of the night the smoke alarm went off , the staff was called, something was burning in the room ...still don't know what it was...maybe the ac ? it was horrible ..with three small children and ten hours of driving ...a nightmare, no rest at all. The eating area was small and not that roomy . The room was ok ..two towels were stained, quite gross yellowish and brownish marks !!! Yuck! MIcrowave did not work ...the list goes on. Not your typical HOliday INn express where you can expect a certain standard. It was not well maintained. I did talk to the GM and got a 50% off discount due to all the hardships we went through will there.
