This is a great restaurant to eat at. The food is both local, fresh, and diverse. There are plenty of options on the menu to fit anyone's taste. A local must-eat restaurant!

I've only eaten here a few times, mostly because it is in the direction I don't usually head. It is close to Eastern Mennonite University, so if you are on campus, in need of some grub, but are on foot, this place is your best option for original food. It's a coffee shop style order where you place your order up front and then take your seat, but the food and prices are good. After your meal, pop in to Artisan's Hope to look at the fair trade crafts from countries around the globe.

Atmosphere is pleasant, food is solid, but good. Proceeds go to charity.

My daughter and I went for dinner and we both thought the food was excellent. She had the citrusy and slightly spicy clementine lentil soup and I have the chili. Both were excellent, her's might have been a bit better. They customized my order without any hesitation and the home made bread is tasty too. We will return.

A bowl of Good features home made soups, breads, salads, and sandwiches. Much of the emphasis on the soups is foreign--lots of Caribbean black bean, African chicken stews, etc., nicely seasoned, using local ingredients. Located a stone's throw from Eastern Mennonite University (known for its musical programs, international education, and peace and justice studies) and a fair trade shop, it is a good place to get a quick meal before a concert or shopping.
