“What a find! Great place in an old warehouse. The chef is innovative with LOCAL fresh foods. Delicious!”
Reviewed September 28, 2013

We were staying in Luray VA to hike in the Shenandoah and explore caverns. The restaurants in Luray are limited; so we explored Harrisonburg, the town, James Madison University campus and found this jewel of a restaurant. The location in an old warehouse is interesting. The food is all with local, fresh, seasonal ingredients and prepared on a par with any restaurant we have eaten in around the world. Delicious and unique. Service friendly and efficient. We wish it were closer to where we live to go back and try other items...and the Blood Orange Margarita...sounds yummy.
Great place.

“A Great Restaurant”
Reviewed September 22, 2013

This restaurant has excellent food and service. One item that makes them stand out from others is the choice of freshly prepared sauces to accent the main dish, and they are exceptional. We loved the dessert and the atmosphere. Parking was somewhat limited, but there is a valet service available. We would definitely go there again, and will look forward to it.

“Outstanding”
Reviewed August 31, 2013

This was our best night of dining while in the area. The food was excellent, as was the service. Local ingredients are featured. The menu is designed so that you can create your own meal; you choose the dry rub and the type of sauce for your meat or fish, and which sides go with it. The duck fat fries are great - crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, with great flavor. The vegetables were crispy, the way I like them. Among us, we had steak, duck and salmon. All were good.
