I have history with Grey Goose...the new feature is the bakery. My favorite is the To Market, To Market, and their lemon Buttermilk pie is absolutely to die for. Try it!

The food is basic Southern cooking. Nothing fancy. Sure wish they would use fresh fruit instead of canned for their fruit salad, but I'm told that this is the old southern way. The Clam Soup offered on Fridays is wonderful. Neither Manhattan or New England, but a lovely clam broth base. Ham biscuits are quite good. Desserts are typically homemade style. The Brunswick Stew is a favorite of mine, too.

Small cafe in quaint town of Hampton. Lots of variety on menu. Terriffic brunswick stew. Deliberated and chose that over quiche which sounded great too. Kids had derby pie and gave it high marks. Very friendly service and atmosphere. Simple and tasty.

I've eaten here 3 times, always at the suggestion of a female. Women seem to like this place -- it has a crafty atmosphere. There are paintings on the wall with little price tags so you can buy one that suits you. Mediocre food, and iffy service.
