Six of us went to Brix on a Sunday night for dinner. The food was pretty good. My husband had the veal ravioli which he liked a lot. He also liked his Brix salad with goat cheese. I had a version of gazpacho which was okay. There were no tomatoes in this but a broth with cut-up zucchini and other veggies which was seasoned with cumin. Not bad but would have been better if the broth were thicker and some of the veggies pureed. My beef brisket was tasty but had a lot of fat on the meat. The sides were good - green beans and carrots not overcooked but not half raw either. The service was spotty. We had to ask several times for various things for the table which the waiter seemed to forget. The place was very busy and maybe they just need more help.
