Bluegreen owns this resort , which is in the woods and covers over a thousand acres. My wife and I stayed in a rustic 2 bedroom cabin and were pleased with the interior, but not with fighting carpenter bees, wasps, and other bugs each time we entered the cabin. There are quite a few activities and things for families to do at the resort. Good luck trying to find a place to eat in the area. The Barbeque Exchange is about the only decent choice. And the resort is 6-12 miles from shopping areas.
We go to a lot of races. At the races you see Bluegreen reps selling vacation packages. We decided to listen. Told the fella we had an RV. We have those he assured us. We signed and paid the fee. Told him we go to the races and he told us this resort was only 20minutes away from Richmond Speedway. Well that wasn't true! 80miles! We were told we could take our pets. We have 4. Only 2 allowed! Told us we had a camping spot with a Hot Tub and fire pit. Well we had a fire ring. No hot tub. We questioned about where they put us and ask for what we were supposed to get. Sorry we are booked full. Nobody else showed up the entire weekend. Went for the Orientation and told them about it. So Sorry about that. Went to check out. Told them where we camped. They said no you were supposed to be in the one with the Hot Tub. Your kidding , Right?. Well needless to say we didn't join. We even left a day before we should have. Wasn't a bad area. In the middle of nowhere!
