“Remodeling but handy and quiet”
Reviewed October 26, 2012

Ok, they are redoing first floor and I will be honest it all needs updating. It is still a nice hotel. Very quiet. Courtyard was very nice. Staff was pleasant, breakfast normal Hampton hot. Hubby liked the omelet. Location was good to get in and out and fairly close to restaurants. They also wash duvets after each guest, a biggie to me.

Room Tip: The higher the better.

Stayed here while traveling thru four states on a road trip. The hotel was nice, but couldn't believe that continental breakfast was not included and was $9.95 per person. I did learn that you can buy individual items...so a toasted bagel and cream cheese was $2.30. We also ran out of toilet paper over night as we were only given less than two quarter rolls of TP...don't remember the last time that ever happened? The set your comfort beds were a bit weird and never seemed to adjust right. Location was nice and quiet...so that was a plus. Also, there are several restaurants near by which was nice.

Standard Hilton Garden Inn, which is a positive. Nice size rooms, which include microwaves and refrigerators. Small, but well equipped fitness center and a medium size pool. Has small business center with computers (free internet) and printers. Staff are very friendly and efficient. In the Innsbrook Corporate Center, a pleasant, but non-descript office park. Adjacent to the Innsbrook Shoppes, a small shopping center, which contains mostly restaurants, so there is plenty of variety of dinner/drink venues. Breakfast at hotel restaurant is good, but not extraordinary. Plenty of free surface parking. Fairly easy access to I-295.

BOTTOM LINE: Very good; however, may not be greatly superior to other nearby properties, so price comparison is worthwhile.

We came to watch my son's triathlon and this hotel was very close to the venue. Actually, it's close to a LOT of things....restaurants, shopping, etc. The hotel and grounds were clean, very nice and quiet. We had a suite which had a king bed and separate living area with a pull out couch and a small kitchen. The rooms were nicely decorated and were modern with wrought iron accents. One thing I didn't like was the sink area was not enclosed in the tub area but was part of the bedroom. We all had to get up early anyway so it wasn't too much of a problem. During the week, breakfast is served at 6 but on the weekend the food isn't out until 7. We had to leave before the food was going to be out. They did have coffee, different breads and bagels for toasting and cereal out. I asked for and was promptly given some milk for my cereal. I wish we could have stayed for breakfast! I bet it was good! The breakfast/lounge area is beautiful with leather furniture and a fireplace. The tables all had upholstered chairs and it was quite comfortable. The staff I encountered were all very friendly and helpful. The pool and workout room looked very nice and clean but we didn't have time to enjoy them. I would highly recommend staying here. It's in a convenient location, the hotel is spotless and furnishings well appointed. Good job with this one Hilton!

We just traveled to Richmond for The Color Run and I found this hotel on Trip Advisor because I was advised by friends who live in Richmond NOT to stay in Richmond. This place was fantastic! I love the 2 queen beds! Traveling with a family of 4 and having a husband that is 6’4 and 240 pounds, it’s hard to find a comfortable place for him. As everyone mentioned the front desk couldn’t have been nicer! They always said hello, asked if you needed anything, and wished us luck while venturing out. The pool and hot tub were clean, which is a plus because usually indoor pools gross me out. I was skeptical but as soon as I walked in I was pleasantly surprised. The room was spacious, beds were comfortable, towels were actually soft not scratchy and I loved the mini refrigerator. The night after we raced me went into the lobby to play games and it was cozy, like our own living room! We didn’t have a full breakfast but it looked delicious! We had fruit and muffins and it hit the spot! The location is also great! Lots of places to eat in walking distance and Wal-Mart/Target are literally right down the street. We had an awesome stay! Thank you Hilton!!!

Enjoyed our one evening in a whirlpool tub room at the Hilton Garden Inn. This property was very clean, reasonably priced and close to MANY shops, restaurants and bars. Indoor pool was fun and again, very clean. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable of things to do in the area. Will most definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: Whirlpool rooms have a huge bathroom with separate shower. Worth the extra few dollars.
