Saw the sign on the building and couldn't belive there was a Thai restaurant in Front Royal. Finally on a Saturday we stopped in for lunch. The place was busy and it definitely looks more like a motel lobby than a restaurant, but hey it's Thai food in Front Royal so I'd sit on a box for some authentic, tasy curry. We ordered the spring rolls and I ordered a bowl of the tom yum talay. Spring rolls were fresh, light, and simply fantastic; the broth in the soup was aromatic and truly a winner. After that we ordered the Panang curry with chicken. It did take some time for it to be delivered to our table but it was simply delicious. The curry was so yummy we finished it off and decided that we will be returning to Thunwa again. Overall the service was slow but it appears that there were only 3 people working the entire restaurant (including the kitchen), and it was a full house so I can live with that. The atmosphere was bland but since there is excellent Thai food in Front Royal I can live with that as well. Overall if I was to choose between all of the Japanese, Chinese, Korean, and now Thai restaurants in the sleepy town of Front Royal I would choose Thunwa hands down. ขอบคุณ
