We were late in the season, and late in the evening when we tried go get something for dinner in Front Royal and knocked on the door of the 'Vino e Formaggio'.
The result was that we were served a premium dinner, with much of it harvested fresh from their own garden. This alone is clearly worth a recommendation.
But we also got a lecture on Virginia wines, and a map and tips what wineries to visit.
If we get a chance to visit Front Royal again, we will make sure we are not too late in any sense, and visit this fine restaurant again.
