“Pretentious but food ok”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 2, 2013

This place is clearly not for locals! On a Tuesday evening there was only us plus a few other people eating. The idea is great - using organic produce and local ingredients however with it being in a rather large gallery and playing what my boyfriend describes as "hippy" music it just didn't work for us. I tried for the first time shrimp and grits and enjoyed this (although have nothing to compare this to) however boyfriends spicy buffalo burger was not so great. He also ordered some local cider at $6 and although he did like the taste, was not impressed when he was presented with a small wine glass only half filled! If staying in this area would not be rushing back.

“Favorite place to take my guests”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 23, 2013

Natasha's is my 'go to' place to treat my guests who visit me here in Floyd. Since it opened it has found its stride. Service is good, even when busy, and the food is always a treat. i have probably eaten just about everything on the menu, so i especially love the daily specials. the desserts are always a knock out and very fresh. i love that most everything is coming from the local farms....meat included. being a food snob, i can count on the freshest, in season and righteous food around. thank you , Natasha, for your service to the community.

“Nice and fun cafe in Floyd”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 19, 2013

We were so happy to discover this nice cafe. We ate there twice. I highly recommend the fried chicken salad!! It was delicious and all fresh ingredients. We also shared their special chicken tortilla and it was fabulous. Great service and setting. Artwork all over the restaurant from artisans for purchase. Also a nice whole foods type store downstairs. Very good selection of all kinds of products. Wish I had more time to explore.

“Bright and airy!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 3, 2013

This restaurant is open and light with nice seating and plenty of windows. The walls and shelves house art and pottery from the area and beyond. There were only a few people there for lunch, but the one waitress was helpful and friendly. In addition to a paper menu there were several daily specials offered along with a few desserts.

The food was good but there were a few "misses": the pomegranate balsamic dressing for the salad was almost tasteless, but the variety of heirloom cherry tomatoes were delicious and the salad greens were fresh. The quiche was very much just standard fare. A grilled cheese sandwich was nothing special, the fried potatoes good but a little too salty. The coconut cream pie was unusual and delicious; the chocolate cake (3 tiers) with chocolate icing and 3 or 4 pecan pieces placed on top as decoration (which was billed as having a "pecan topping") would have been much, much better had it not been stored in the refrigerator, which made the cake portion rather bland although the icing was quite good.

All in all a pleasant if unexceptional dining experience, but a welcome addition to the town of Floyd. We would try eating there again sometime.

“Delighful restaurant”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 18, 2013

We had eaten lunch at Natasha's previously and loved our meal. Last week we returned there for dinner. It was Thursday night and "soul food" was featured. Our meals were excellent. I chose herb baked chicken and my husband chose meatloaf. The restaurant is bright and cheerful with wonderful artwork displayed in every corner. The people who served us were friendly and helpful. We look forward to our next trip to Floyd and another meal at Natasha's.
