“Nice meal”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 6, 2013

We had a nice meal at Natasha's during our trip up the Blue Ridge Parkway. We sat on the terrace on a lovely evening. Our waitress was very sweet. We had the salmon and trout. Definitely worth stopping for a meal. We walked there from the Hotel Floyd where we stayed.

“Excellent lunch at Natasha's”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 6, 2013

My wife and I had lunch at Natasha's. It was busy, but we got right in, and served promptly. The selection on the menu was great, with many specials. Great wine list. Our meals were excellent.

“Great food for those not in a hurry”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 26, 2013

Stopped at Natasha's in Floyd for lunch with my better half. The cafe is well airy, well decorated, and contains a nice presentation of local art. The menu selection was refreshing and exciting. The food superb!. I had the Salmon salad and wife order the Vegetable Fritatta. We were both pleased with the meal. We had the homemade Key lime pie, which was fantastic!. Our only critical comment was that the service could be notched up some. We had to ask for drink refill and never received a check. After an extended wait, we walked up to the area where the register was and was able to make payment and leave. If it wasn't for the service, we would of rated this cafe a 5 star.

“A wonderful find”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 26, 2013

As we passed through on the Blue Ridge, we decided to make Floyd our stop for the night at the Ambrosia B&B (great stay). Dinner was a tad more difficult as a Tuesday in June means few options. Fortunately Natasha's was open. Great organic & local fare creatively prepared. The portions were good and price point quite reasonable. We enjoyed our time and our server was delightful.

“What a wonderful experience - hidden jewel”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 17, 2013

We were in the Floyd and Hillsville area just for the day. How extremely fortunate that we found Natasha's Market Cafe! The store [downstairs] is a delight - what a treasure. The Market Cafe - located upstairs - fabulous! Lovely pottery and other art work from several regions of the US and Canada decorates the walls and some well displayed shelves.

Ok...now on to the really important stuff...the FOOD. Natasha - the Chef/Owner works magic in the kitchen - I just don't know any other way to put it. I enjoyed (immensely) the 'special' grilled cheese of the day - a white cheddar with apple butter - grilled to perfection. A cup of the soup of the day...cream of tomato - over the top! The soup was perfectly seasoned - thick and creamy. My friend enjoyed the sausage, peppers and onion sandwich with a 'side' of Russian potato salad...excellent!

The wait staff was polite, professional, very knowledgeable about the menu offerings and a joy to 'visit with'. Unfortunately, I did not make a note of her name.

I do plan to be back in the Floyd area in June and Natasha's Market Cafe will most definitely be on my list of places to dine. Don't miss this out of the ordinary place.
