“Great Italian food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 22, 2013

We ate on the 'porch' which was enclosed due to the weather not being quite there to open up. Cold draft beers and good food. I had garlic knots with cheese which were typical. Eggplant Rollentini was very good. My husband had an Italiano Calzone with 3 meats and 3 cheeses that he said was the best he ever had. Our server was attentive but never offered us the specials, which I heard another server do after we ordered. Only flaw.

We love this little restaurant and try to visit when we go to the Villa Appalachia Winery. Great, authentic Italian restaurant with typical Italian fare. Not showy, but very good food. Do try this!

“Unexpected upscale Italian for average price”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 15, 2013

Linguini con Frutti-de-mare and Rigatoni ala Devin were excellent. Sauces were unique and very flavorful. Included focaccia bread was Very good. We had optional salads and large beers and the bill including tip was less than $50, a steal anywhere else. Service was excellent. Our waiter gave us recommendations for restaurants in Ashville.

“Best Floyd has to offer”

Food is fresh, service is professional and price is reasonable. What's not to like. If you plan on going on a weekend night, get there early as the word is out on this fine restaurant.

“Great Italian”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 5, 2013 via mobile

My husband and I ate here for the first time and it was very good. A gem. A small place and very busy. We got the Rustic Covered Pie which was fabulous. It was sorta like a large calzone but round and full of ricotta, mozzarella, sausage, ham, and pepperoni. Yummo!!! Will definitely go back and try some of the other items or daily specials.
