We stopped in for lunch after reading the other tripadvisor reviews, and we were glad we did. It's an unassuming place that's easy to miss if you didn't know it was there, but it's definitely worth seeking out. Food was excellent, very reasonably priced, and the service was friendly and attentive. We'll definitely go back when we're in the area!

We've been to Mickey G's several times over the past 2 years. Each time the food has been excellent and the prices very fair. Service is always great. In winter, the patio is enclosed and heated.

Mickey G's brings in folks looking for good Italian food from many miles. The restaurant itself is small and a little crowded - especially in winter months since folks come in to escape the cold and sort of stand around in the "aisle." The vodka sauce is really memorable. Food ranges from sandwiches and pizza to excellent but reasonably price entres (always check out the specials and the catch of the day). The pictures that are on Trip Advisor are real, but the lighting and the corner shot probably make it look a little more intimate than it is. As I said, its crowded. Floyd is a great little town when the weather is good so there are reasons to make the trip other than Mickey G's. When it is warm there is almost always a band outside in the middle of town and week ends are almost always a reason to gather multiple bands to celebrate blue grass music. The FloydFest of course is nationally known.

This restaurant was recommended by our hostess at a local B&B... Not much to look at from the outside, and small... We were greeted immediately as we walked in the door, and seated. There were only 2 other tables seated when we arrived, but the place was packed within 20 minutes. Both of our dinners were very flavorful and served at the perfect temperature. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone. There is something for everyone at this place.

My husband and I were on an overnight stay and were recommended this Italian restaurant.

We could not have eaten better that night. It didn't look much from the outside, but it more than delivered when you got inside. We had antipasti, pizza and pasta - all dishes were sublime. we've eaten a lot in Italy and this more than measure up...well done and thank you!
