This is supposed to be an Italian place and the food is actually pretty good, but if you are an Italian restaurant and you have pepper shakers and "romano" in a shaker jar can you really be Italian?
Both times we have eaten here we have had to beg for the pepper grinder. You cannot keep it at your table since they only have one so, want pepper on your salad and later on your pasta....you have to ask twice.....As for the Parmigiano, I asked our waitress about that and the shaker jar. She assured me that the 'stuff' in the jar was Romano cause they fill them up every day...
Hey why not live on the wild side, invest in some pepper grinders at the table or for each wait staff and have some parmigiano that can be ground fresh on the pasta or pizza.
As I said at the beginning the food is actually pretty good...I had pasta this time with mushrooms and my wife liked the pizza. As for ambiance not much of that since they try to stuff a table in every little space...including in front of half of a double door where we sat!
