My husband and I went there one morning for breakfast. We are new to the area and were not familiar with the restaurant, or how it worked.
So needless to say, it was a little confusing when we walked in. We were not sure how to order, or what was included in our order etc....
We decided to get the same thing. A country breakfast with sausage and coffee. The woman behind the counter seemed distracted and had to ask us three times what we wanted before she was finally able to concentrate on what we were saying. We gathered up our tray and then tried to figure out where to pay. Finally, we realized where to pay, then we got our coffee. The coffee pots were empty, and we had to wait for them to be replenished. Our food came out fairly promptly and it was good quality.
However, the ambience was not what we would have preferred. We ate our meal while watching a huge and very unclean looking woman digging around in the jams and butters and then filling a huge mug she had brought from home with half a pot of coffee. She returned three times while we were there.
We probably would not return. The self serve business is too confusing and a lot more work than I would like to do when I am paying a fair amount for breakfast. It would be nicer to just have a server.
