We are new fans of Raaga, who arguably have the best Chicken Tikka Masala in NOVA. The sauce has a great smokey flavor we've not typically found in other masalas. Samosas and the Ragda patties appetizers were also very good. They also claim to have one of the areas only charcoal-fired clay ovens still in use (since the fire codes changed in 2001 which prevent new ones from being built/used). It's apparent by the quality of their naans, roti and grilled meat. Service was very attentive, but not overly so, as we lingered to chat after our meal without pressure. When we want Indian Food, we've often made the trip into DC to go to Heritage. However, Raaga makes a great alternative.

We enjoyed our meal at Raaga Restaurant and will return. The staff was welcoming. The food was very good. Surprisingly, our waiter was reluctant to make any menu suggestion so we were left on our own to sort through the many items on the menu. We had Ragda Patties as an appetizer since they were noted as a house specialty. We also ordered Chicken Nilgiri, Yellow Dal and Herb Naan. Our waiter cautioned us that the dal would be quite spicy. We didn't find it so. In fact the Chicken Nilgiri was significantly more spicy, but delicious. Throughout the meal the staff was attentive, kept the water glasses filled and checked with us from time to time to assure that our needs were being met. An older man, possibly the owner, stopped by to confirm that we were enjoying our food. The restaurant is quiet and attractive. Raaga Restaurant sits back a bit from Leesburg Pike so you have to look for it if you are not familiar with the Bailey's Crossroads area.

The selection is good, not great, for Northern Indian food. But some particular dishes are worth going for over and over again. Sorry, I don't remember the name, but the spinach appetizer is made up into small, "puffy" balls with yogurt drizzled over them, and is excellent. The prices are a bit high, but deals can often be found on restaurants.com and goupon.

This is the best Indian restaurant that I've been to...and that includes the restaurants I went to in India. The Chicken Tika Masala is to die for; I actually day dream about it sometimes. The owner is very friendly. It's not the poshest of decor but the food is just so good that I'm perfectly happy to overlook that.

Small place but quite lively on a Monday night
I've eaten here several times for their lunch buffet, but hadn't ever ordered off the menu.

We started off ordering the assorted Naan, and Aloo Papri. Both delicious. The Aloo is served cold.

For our main courses, I ordered the Rojan Josh and my wife had the Chicken Tiki Masala - our favorites. Very spicy, but not intolerable. Ample meat in both dishes.

We had a GroupON, but even with two glasses of wine, the expense was very reasonable for such tasty dishes -- and there was just enough leftover for lunch the next day.

Service was accommodating, but not overbearing.
