Description: 2941 is one of the most celebrated restaurants in the metropolitan area. The restaurant is nestled in the heart of Falls Church, VA surrounded by lush landscaping, koi ponds, waterfalls, world-class artwork, and a lakeside view. Following its transition from a special occasion fine dining venue to a bustling upscale casual dining experience in 2012, award-winning Executive Chef Bertrand Chemel and Pastry Chef Caitlin Dysart infuse sweet and savory perfection into their contemporary American cuisine accented with bold French and Mediterranean flavors. Named by Washingtonian Magazine in 2014 as a 100 Very Best Restaurant, Northern Virginia Magazine in 2013 as one of the Top 50 Best Restaurants, and by Eater DC as a 38 Essential Washington Restaurant, to name a few accolades, 2941 continues to charm gourmands with its sophisticated yet relaxed ambiance, outstanding service, and inventive cuisine. | 2941 also has a Sister Restaurant Pizzeria Orso that serves award winning brick oven pizza, also located in Falls Church.

“A Perfect 10”
Reviewed March 29, 2013

Though the restaurant's name is 2941, its quality is a 10. This was evidenced recently by a birthday party we held there. Tasting menu was excellent, as were the paired wines. We spent substantial time in advance of the meal consulting with the chef and sommelier, and what they produced more than met our expectations. And the wait staff were excellent, too, understanding the flow of the party (e.g., there were many toasts, we rotated people from table to table after the second course).

“Birthday celebration”
Reviewed March 15, 2013 via mobile

After along day of site seeing. This was quite a treat! We arrival to a rather secluded location. Greeting by a smiling host, we where seated by the fireplace. The menu had lots of great selection of seafood which made it hard to choose. Finally we decided on the pairing menu with wine. My husband has a shellfish allergery and they were more than happy to make subsitutions. Food was absolutely fanastatic!!! Service was spot on!!! When waiter came to make small talk he found out were where there for bday dinner. He then brought champaine and chocolate dessert! Highly recommand this place!

“Pleasing Decor and Service with Great Food”
Reviewed March 10, 2013

This is my second time dining at this restaurant. It is located in a quiet area of Falls Church and easy to find. There is complimentary Valet and a beautiful koi pond at the entrance. The surrounding is nicely landscaped with peasant lighting. It has outstanding inside decor and ambience with spacious seating, well placed fire places, floor to ceiling glass walls overlooking beautiful landscape complete with a Salvadore Dali sculpture. The service is attentive. We tried the Mushroom Tartine, Crispy Calamari & Butternut Squash Soup. I had the poached sea Bass. The food is delicious. This is an upscale restaurant and will set you back by $50 - $75 per person (with out the tasting menu) depending on wine choices and desserts. If you are looking for a great dining experience with special friends or that special person, look no further!

“Outstanding!”
Reviewed February 18, 2013

We have been going to 2941 for many year. The restaurant is visually pleasing, with a beautiful driveway, koi pond, waterfall, and great lighting in the dining area. Whether we are having the 5 course tasting menu or a "Daffy" duck and fois gras burger at the bar we are always happy with the choices. The waiters and bar staff are friendly and efficient. Definitely will continue to come back.

“Beautiful space, excellent food, great service, overpriced wines”
Reviewed February 2, 2013

The dining room, on the ground floor of a modern office building, is one of the most attractive in the DC area, with soaring ceilings, glass walls overlooking a beautifully-landscaped pond and garden, and modern fireplaces affording a comfortable atmosphere with well-spaced tables.
The quality of the food is excellent: every dish we tried was outstanding - the fried calamari appetizer (one of the best we've had, and we've had many), the tuna tartare with guacamole, the duck trio and pear tart dessert. The service was in keeping - very helpful, knowledgeable, and personable. Our only complaint was the absence of a reasonable selection of moderately-priced wines - there were not more than a few bottles under $50, and individual glasses generally ranged from $12-$18..
