This is a very romantic place to eat as the lighting is low and the decor is very dark. I love it. The food is delicious and the service was impeccable. I will be going back here again when we are in Falls Church.

Don't know why we have overlooked this restaurant until now. Beautiful modern, pleasant and inviting decor receives you as soon as you step through the front door. Menu is limited but of high quality. Fresh variety of oysters, delicious sushi creations, and fresh fish. Owner came over to introduce herself and ascertain that we were pleased with everything. Great place for that special celebration or to just enjoy good food and relax with friends. Extensive wine list too!

Excellent find. Great atmosphere, almost a Miami Beach feel with fresh seafood and excellent entrees including short ribs that will delight along with the sea bass. The service is as wonderful as the rest of the package. Thank you Chelsea for making our evening.

I have eaten at the Sea Pearl twice in the past few months, once with friends, and once as part of a catered business promotion for a group of 24. The Sea Pearl is a handsome restaurant, tastefully decorated in a sleek, modern style. The featured design point is a large glass divider in the center of the dining room, with cascading pearl disks that catch the light. There is also a medium sized bar area at the entrance, with spacious seating. A nice feature is the free covered parking in the building, with a direct entrance into the restaurant --- very much appreciated during inclement weather.

My dinner with friends was outstanding, with delicious entrees, a nice wine list, and attentive service, albeit a little on the slow side due to a large private party. The menu features several standard seafood items, with a few more adventurous offerings. The wine list was not expansive, but had an excellent Bridlewood Estate Pinot Noir that I had never tasted before, and the ever popular Caymus Conundrum white. Very enjoyable dining experience.

On my most recent visit, the evening started with a table of hot appetizers, including skewered chicken tenders (OK), great crab balls (I took several home), and a variety of samosas with various sauces. So far, so good. The group dinner that followed was not up to the standards set at my previous visit. There were two choices --- overcooked salmon, or a very tasty grilled chicken breast. Salmon is notoriously difficult for larger groups, but this effort could have been improved. Dessert was a very tasty molten chocolate cake. Service by the two waiters was commendable throughout the evening.

I plan to return to the Sea Pearl for the good seafood, soothing decor, and good service. Hopefully in future they will improve their performance for larger groups.

Spouses have dined here several times, most recently last week, and it is currently our go-to near-home seafood restaurant outside our own kitchen. Now that oyster season is in full gear we will be visiting even more frequently. The Kumamotos and other West Coast oysters are a draw for us but we are trying to learn more about and try local varieties. We wish we could limit ourselves to the oysters and perhaps a single martini sometimes but the new sushi option and the normally consistent seafood main courses are a draw Thus a large bill

The main room decorations remind us of an Oscar Niemeyer Brasilia design having large diameter white parallel saucers hanging from ceiling with matching waterfall strings of smaller vertical disks as interior wall backdrops. One drawback are the East facing windows that force viewing of Gallows Road. Actually not much need for exterior light in this unique interior setting.

Consider the restaurant good for couples, business or client meetings. There are tables near bar where younger souls often congregate and a side room entering from the garage (good free parking) for group conferencing, drinks only perhaps, and eating. I agree with a previous viewer on inconsistency. Worst was hair on plate which was immediately recognized and credited, another a misorder etc. However the quality of food and management responses to any issues bring us back. Overall 4 stars.
