Description: Texas de Brazil is carving out a whole new experience in fine dining. The restaurant is an authentic Brazilian-American "Churrascaria" or steakhouse that combines the cuisines of Southern Brazil with the generous spirit of Texas.Treat yourself to our 50-60 item seasonal salad area including appetizers, gourmet vegetables, soups, and salads. Turn your place card to green and prepare to be swarmed by a troop of carvers generously serving various cuts of seasoned beef, lamb, pork, chicken and Brazilian sausage, all accompanied by traditional side items and house-baked Brazilian cheese bread. As you dine endlessly on Brazilian fare, let one of our in-house wine connoisseurs select the perfect pairing from our extensive, award-winning wine lists, or sip on a freshly-made signature cocktail-the Caipirinha. Complete your dining experience with one of our many decadent dessert selections, and then relax with an after-dinner drink, steaming espresso and enjoy the ambiance and service perfection that is uniquely Texas de Brazil.

We love coming here, it is a great family gathering type place, also a good place for couples, food is excellent, service is good and always consistent, prices are ok, not an everyday type place but it always worth the 30 min drive to get here. we will always return to eat here it is one ofthe best places in Fairfax.

We dined at Texas de Brazil last week and were mostly pleased. In the past, I found their meats to be too salty. However, I think based on recent reviews they have a lighter hand when seasoning. The service was really good as we were one of the last couples in the restaurant thus we had the attention of the waiters. I’d say TDB is half a notch below Chima because their wine prices (DC prices in Fairfax, VA) are too high and their salad bar is not maintained as well as Chima’s. I give this place 3.5 stars.

I'm glad to wait if needed, but there were 6-10 tables unused while we cooled our heels in the bar. Felt like we were being used to help them pretend they were so, so busy. On a Tuesday night? Really? When tables are open? The food is delicious, and salty, the way we like it. Only worth the wait because I promised my guest a unique experience. Best deal was the $29/bottle house wine. Also, what's the deal with no signs at the mall directing you to the restaurant? (By the upper Macy's II entrance, if you go. You're at the right entrance if you can SEE the restaurant!) Drove completely around the mall looking at each entrance trying to figure out where its located.

What an experience! The food is beyond awesome. The salad bar is second to none, with meats, cheeses, sauces, and to many things to name. All you can eat meat selections of every kind, flank, sirloin, filet, chicken, lamb, ribs and pork. Do not miss the opportunity to experience this Brazilian steakhouse.
Service is impeccable and while I enjoy a native rum/sugar drink that was delish, the $20 price was steep for the amount. Dinner is $45 per person and well worth the price...make sure you are hungry!!!

Enjoyed a visit celebrating my birthday. Service was pretty good -- the gauchos came out in waves so there was at times a lull in availability. Found the salad bar to be impressive, and most of the meat was tasty (though much too salty). I thought it was expensive for what we got.
