“Basic and good”
Reviewed February 1, 2013

A no frills spot (Chantilly location) with decent Mexican food at reasonable prices. Equally good for breakfast, you can get a good lunch or dinner here. Not romantic. Family friendly.

“Not good.”
Reviewed January 5, 2013

We have eaten here a couple of times and were highly unsatisfied each time. We returned a second time out of desperation during a power failure. The food is ok, but does not stand close to other Mexican restaurants. Service was lackluster at best.

“No frills Mexican”
Reviewed January 3, 2013

I have been going to Anita's for many years now. The food quality has certainly dropped off over the last few years, but I still occasionally drop in. The last time I was in the wait staff was very nice, but very disorganized. We were seated by the kitchen, which is not something I really want to look into. I saw way too much for my own good. The food itself is fine, much of it tastes canned, the rice was brittle, but overall it wasn't the worst thing I ever ate. I liked the breakfasts there as a change of pace and it was the only Mexican place around serving breakfast, so that is nice. Overall, it is average food now. I wish it were better, but it is not like it once was.

“Good Basic Mexican Food”
Reviewed November 26, 2012 via mobile

The food was fresh and homemade. The salsa was really good and spicy. The pork tamale was good although a little bland. The chicken enchilada was nicely spiced. The restaurant is clearly a local favorite for lunch - everyone seemed to know everyone else when we were there. The place is small and a little dated, but the food satisfies. The service was cheerful and prompt.

“Okay Mexican Food Close to Hotel”
Reviewed November 25, 2012

Food was okay - not great - but close to the Hampton Inn. After a long day of flying, service was prompt and food arrived quickly. The house margaritas are good - not too sweet. Prices are average.
