“Good eats for a nice night out”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 16, 2013

My wife and I go to Artie's every so often for a casual, but nice, night out. It's part of the Great American Restaurant chain, and it never disappoints. It's not the fanciest food, but we've always left happy and continue to return. I'm a personal fan of the smoked salmon filet and my wife really likes the roast pork tenderloin. You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu though. We definitely recommend the flourless chocolate waffle though - we get it every time!

“Great menue.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 6, 2013

Recently visited fairfax for a long meeting and needed a great meal and at a great price. I dined at Artie's for the first time. The service was great and the server was very knowledgeable about the food and restaurant. The blue crab fritters were awsome and seared tuna was just right. Thank you to the servers who were very attentive.

“Artie's is Not to Be Missed in Fairfax”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 2, 2013

Every course at Artie's was terrific. We started with the Lobster Bisque (which is only available on Fridays and Saturdays as a rule) It was very good and lighter in consistency than some versions I have had. Then we had the Spinach and Artichoke Dip - you must try it. It is exceptional and the chips are made locally in the restaurant's bakery. We then shared a Chipotle and Marinated Pork Loin accompanied with Parmeasan potatoes and a corn and mixed vegetable side dish. The meat was cooked to perfection and the potatoes were so good all thoughts of the diet were put on hold. The corn and mixed vegetable side dish was sweet and very fresh and light making it a perfect accompaniment to the pork and potatoes. The inside of the restaurnat is a boating motiff set in the 1920s with wood models on display etc. It holds quite a few tables but waiting is to be expacted if you don't get there early. It is very reasonable and a must do in the Northern Virginia area.

“Best in Fairfax!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 31, 2013 via mobile

Have been going to Artie's for years. Best deal is the lunch. But dinner is great for special occasions, or just drinks with the girls. Must try's: the crab cakes. Service is stupendous.
