First run movies. Comfortable seating. Good variety of foods and beverages with average theater pricing. Senior rates on Wednesdays all day. Matinee prices available. Plenty of parking. Helpful staff.

Title says it all. It's in a shopping center with lots of parking. I've been there many times. Lots of movies that received short exposure in the major theaters get longer runs here.

Showing both current "art" and Indy films as well as major releases, this theater is nestled back in an inside corner location of a large shopping complex. The staff is friendly and the food and drink offerings are slightly different from the typical movie theater fare; but popcorn, candy, and drinks are also available. The prices are fair, with a low senior rate is available all day on Wednesdays and every day for the first show time. Not a fancy theater, but a nice, friendly place to see a movie.

If you live in southern Fairfax, there isn't much in terms of movie theaters to choose from. You can go to Fair Oaks Mall and catch a flick there, but this one is close to folks on the southern and eastern edge of Fairfax. This theater is nestled in a corner of an old strip mall that appears to under some renovation. It has ample parking and next to DSW, shoppers, Bed Bath and Beyond, Best Buy, and some nearby restaurants. It has great matinee prices and is never really crowded, at least during matinee times. I haven't been there on a Friday or Sat. night, so I can't comment during those times.

This movie theatre is a privately owned facility. He shows the popular films as well as some artsy (where you read the subtitles) films. In Fairfax, his was among the first theaters to recover following 9/11, when people were avoiding places that attracted a lot of patrons. If you are lucky, he will come through the theatre and fill up your popcorn box before the movie begins. Never had that happen anywhere else! Sorry -- I don't remember if there is wheel chair access, but I think there is. Check before going.
