Excellent choices for tasty and wholesome cuisines: Japanese, SW, seafood, lunch-plates, pizza and more. It even has a wine bar serving selection of excellent and affordable wine as well as artisan cheese.

Amazing place and great lunch options for the whole family. We often visit on weekends after kids activities . Kids love gelato after a light brunch

Whoever planned this Whole Foods Market was a genius. The restaurant pods, interspersed with the actual grocery store is artfully and tastefully organized and decorated, but what's truly amazing is the great tasting food. Although I've had a couple great fish meals at the fish station, my favorite is the barbecue station. Northern Virginia has few BBQ restaurants, so when I'm in the mood for some, and I'm anywhere close to the store, I hop over and order a BBQ pulled pork or chicken sandwich with mac and cheese and slaw as my sides. The BBQ is as good as any I've had where BBQ is king (Carolinas, Texas, etc). I really like that the station has three sauces available to try (in addition to the sauce already on the sandwich). A great place at stop in for lunch or dinner, and it's very convenient if you wan to eat first and then do your shopping. I just wish I lived closer to be able to take advantage more often. More DC Whole Foods locations need to renovate and adopt this model.

Several choices here at Whole Foods including Seafood, BBQ, Cheese, Sushi, hot food corner, buffet (typically, salad, Indian, Chinese, American, a daily special, and a dessert bar), geleto station, and a sports bar. No tips are necessary here and they recommend not to do so.
It is a fun place for a decent meal at a cheaper than restaurant with fresh ingredients. My fave? Not one but Seafood, BBQ, Indian, Pizza, and gelato! :-)

Great place to chill while waiting for friends you're meeting at Union Square - can buy things from the supermarket and bring up to eat.
